About Loadout Workshop
My name is Michael, and I built Loadout Workshop for makers, gamers, and creators who grew up taking things apart, upgrading their gear, and figuring things out the hands‑on way. If you’ve ever opened a controller just to see how it works, or spent hours dialing in your setup until it felt right, you’re in the right place.
I’ve always been that person — the one who loves gear, tools, creative tech, and the satisfaction of building or fixing something myself. I grew up in the era of early gaming, electronics kits, and DIY problem‑solving, and that mindset never left. Loadout Workshop is where all of that experience comes together.
Here, you’ll find:
- Gear reviews that are honest, practical, and based on real‑world use
- Creative tools and resources that help you make more with less
- DIY and tinkering projects that spark ideas and teach real skills
- Comparison breakdowns with clean, consistent visuals to help you choose the right gear
To keep things visually consistent, some comparison graphics on the site are created using AI‑generated imagery. These are used only for presentation — never to alter or misrepresent real products. All opinions and recommendations are based on hands‑on experience, research, and community feedback.
My goal is simple: help you level up your setup, your tools, and your creativity — one project at a time.

Welcome to the Workshop. Let’s build something awesome.
